Women in War Norwich Heritage Project starting soon –

We’re thrilled to announce that we will be working with the HLF, The Norwich Records Office and Norfolk Museums to create a special new Women in War project. We’re now looking for people living in Norwich who may like to be involved. During the project we aim to use performance techniques to explore the role of women as nurses and ambulance drivers in WW1, developing history skills, creating a short film about local nurse Edith Cavell and a new production of Women in War in Norwich in Autumn 2026.

A special notice

Please note that our Artistic Director, Alfie James is currently working part-time whilst he takes a small side step to recharge due to ill health. This does mean that it may take us slightly longer to do things or get back to people. But we are still very much here and alive. Alfie is fine, but just needs to take it easy. He's planning to be back full-time after Christmas. We're already looking forward to some of the exciting plans which he has got for us.

Thank you for all of your support and understanding
